About the Internship

We are looking for a Lab Technician Intern to support lab operations, maintain organization, and assist scientists with experiments, including sample preparation. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced biotech environment and the potential for full-time employment based on performance and company needs.

What You’ll Do

• Lab Operations & Maintenance

  • Wash and restock lab supplies (pipette tips, tubes, flasks, etc.).

  • Prepare and dispose of biohazard waste.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lab (e.g., incubators, biosafety cabinets).

• Ordering & Inventory Management

  • Manage lab inventory and ordering processes.

  • Obtain quotes, place orders, and log incoming lab materials.

  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records for reagents, plastics, and consumables.

• Support for Assays & Experiments

  • Prepare reagents, aliquots, and solutions (e.g., 70% ethanol, bleach, FBS).

  • Label and prepare containers/media for experiments.

  • Assist scientists with sample preparation and assay setup.

• Team Collaboration

  • Help onboard new lab members and provide training as needed.

  • Respond to equipment alarms and assist with sample maintenance.

  • Work closely with scientists and lab staff to ensure smooth operations.
