Legal Student Assistant, Intellectual Property - Aarhus

How will you make an impact

Our new student assistant will be cooperating closely  with our IP Legal Counsels and ensuring excellent legal processes on a wide variety of tasks.

Your tasks will include:

• Reviewing and drafting contracts, such as confidentiality contracts, material transfer contracts, collaboration contracts, etc.


• Giving feedback and guidance to relevant stakeholders in respect of such contracts.


• Driving smaller internal projects with a focus on developing and improving legal processes.


• Creating guidelines and training materials.


• General contract administration and filing.


• Ad hoc assistance on various IP and patent matters and digitalization matters.

What will make you successful

We are looking for a Student Assistant who works independently and handles tasks with accuracy and efficiency, delivering within agreed deadlines. A service‑minded and analytical mindset is essential, with attention to detail balanced by an understanding of the bigger picture. The role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, contributes positively to the team, and shows a strong willingness to learn as part of their development.

Furthermore, we assume that you:

• Are a law student, ideally in the 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree or has just initiated a master’s degree; this position is relevant for both stud.jur and stud.HA(jur.).

• Have a commercial mindset.


• Have experience from a similar position either in a law firm or in-house legal department is preferred, but not a requirement.


• Possess strong English skills in both written and spoken.


• Are a ‘digital native – both in terms of cooperation and communication.


• Are  able to work approx. 10-15 hours per week, with due consideration to your studies.
