Position Overview:

Join TechBBQ as a Marketing and Sales Assistant and contribute to our mission of empowering startups and driving innovation in Scandinavia. Working closely with our experienced team, you'll play a vital role in the Marketing and Sales Department . We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer focusing on customer service and direct ticket sales. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant, fast-paced setting while contributing to the success of one of the most exciting tech events.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, primarily via email

• Assist with direct sales activities, including ticket sales and brand ambassadorship

• Handle customer inquiries email and in-person with professionalism and efficiency

• Support the team with event setup, registration, and on-site logistics

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to execute communication strategies

• Gather and relay customer feedback to help improve our events and services

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Positive attitude and a strong desire to help others

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous experience in customer service or sales is a plus, but not required

• Comfortable using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite)

• Passion for technology and startups is highly desirable
