Mobile Platforms and Tools Engineering Internship

SYBO is part of the Miniclip family and known for the widely popular game, Subway Surfers - the most downloaded mobile game in the world, with over four billion downloads. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we aim to create playful moments that inspire our fans to care.

We’re looking for a skilled engineering intern to join our Central Technology team with a focus on mobile platforms and tools. The Central Technology team builds tools and services used across all our games. The primary learning opportunities for an intern in the Mobile Platform and Tools team will be within development of high-performing and robust Unity / C# systems that form the basis of our projects. As such, they will get insights into a vital role that supports how SYBO makes games!

This internship is unpaid and full-time running for the fall semester in 2025.

Your time at SYBO

In your ramp-up month, we will get you up to speed and introduce you to our systems and methodologies. We have a high focus on Unity and we will provide you with all the learning material you will need to learn about the basics of Unity, as well as more advanced material to get you started and ready to contribute.

In your contributor months, you will get to deepen your knowledge within the respective fields of C# and Unity. We will give you tasks and smaller implementations that will directly influence the games we are developing at SYBO. The contributor months will allow you to learn through collaboration and work on real, live services.

Responsibilities

• You will develop your Unity3D knowledge and experience, deepening your understanding of asset workflows and data serialization.




• You will develop your knowledge of C# APIs and Unity APIs




• You may learn about Multithreading, concurrency and network integrations




• Utilizing your C# skills and further build on your knowledge of other modern technologies




• You will gain familiarity with widely-used design patterns and algorithms.

Requirements

• You should be curious to develop your knowledge and learn new skills




• You should have knowledge of both C# and Unity3D.

It is a requirement to be enrolled in a university program that supports a full-time internship as part of the education - and you need to be able to commute to our Copenhagen office on a daily basis.

We do not offer relocation, VISA, or house search assistance for internships.
