Job Description - Student Assistant Product Management

Student Assistant – Product Management (Market Intelligence & Business Analysis)

We are seeking a Student Assistant to join our Product Management team based in Hedehusene, Denmark. The role is part of our Product Management organisation and will work closely with commercial and technical stakeholders across the organization.

Your future team:

You will join ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation (RTI), a global subsidiary of the ROCKWOOL Group. You will become part of a highly experienced and dynamic Product Management team responsible for our technical insulation product portfolios for energy, process, marine, and offshore sectors. You will have direct touchpoints across the organization, offering you a broad perspective from innovation and product development, to sales, marketing, communication, supply chain and senior management.

What you will be doing:

As our Student Assistant, you will support the Product Management team primarily within market intelligence, business analysis and maintenance of our digital product assets. Your main tasks will include:

  • Collecting, structuring and summarising market and competitor insights from internal and external sources.
  • Monitoring and collecting regulatory trends relevant for our products and markets as part of the overall market intelligence work.
  • Supporting business analyses (e.g. sales performance, product portfolio, customer segments, pricing trends) and turning data into clear, actionable findings.
  • Helping to maintain and improve our digital assets and product information (e.g. content, documentation, data quality, and pricing in digital tools/platforms).
  • Preparing presentations, overviews and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across functions and countries and contributing with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and good communication skills

What you bring:

You are in the later part of your bachelor’s degree or at the beginning of a master’s degree in business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering with business focus, or similar and you have at least 1.5 years left of your studies.

  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with data, drawing conclusions, and presenting your findings in a clear way.
  • You have a pronounced can-do attitude and are proactive, curious and self-driven.
  • You take responsibility and can work independently, once the task and direction are clear, you can navigate the internal and external stakeholders to get things done.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently in English, both written and spoken.
  • You are structured and detail-oriented, and you can manage several tasks at the same time.
  • You enjoy working with others and are not afraid to ask questions or reach out to new stakeholders.

What we offer:

  • A student role of approx. 15–20 hours per week with flexibility around exams.
  • Close collaboration with experienced colleagues who are ready to spar and help you develop.
  • Insight into how we work with product management, commercial decision-making and digital tools in practice.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:
Bachelor students: 160 DKK/hour
Master students: 175 DKK/hour
Transportation allowance: 1000 DKK/month
