Because we deliver commercial insights, analysis and recommendations for Sales and Marketing, enabling them to provide value to Arla and our retail and foodservice customers.

About the Internship
As Commercial Business Development Intern, you will be working in the Customer & Category Development Team supporting various sales and marketing functions within retail and foodservice. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and independent Commercial Business Development Intern with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to transform insights into commercial actions.

Your main projects during the internship:

• Deliver market insights based on detailed analyses using various systems and data sources, e.g. macro level tendencies, FMCG market development in general, retail and foodservice sales, promotions, prices, shoppers and consumers.
• Optimizing our existing data sources and providing insights to key stakeholders in our sales and marketing functions.
• Provide detailed analysis of shopper trends and behaviour across our dairy categories to find white spots in the market.
• Ad-hoc tasks, e.g. estimate promotion volume uplifts, create price overviews, create business cases and secure data quality.

As an intern, you will assist the Customer and Category Team in retrieving these insights and turn them into actions.

Who are you?
We are looking for a student with an educational background which can be within Marketing, International Business, Retail Management or something similar. You have a natural interest in consumers and, therefore, a broad understanding of the Danish consumer market.

Furthermore:

• You have a natural flair for numbers and data management - and strong analytical skills
• Your presentation skills in PowerPoint are good, and you have experience in Excel
• It is an advantage if you are a Power BI user, but it is not a requirement
• You are self-driven and can maintain an overview, but at the same time have an eye for details
• You are positive, results-oriented and structured
• You speak and write English and Danish fluently

What do we offer?
You will be a part of a team of 8 skilled and motivated individuals driving the required commercial analyses and competitiveness assessments that support the overall strategy in Arla Denmark. You will work with our global brands, categories and customers within the retail and foodservice landscape. We are based in Viby J, Aarhus, Denmark, and this will be your base for working in the Customer and Category Development Team.
