Accountant

Job Description:

Marel is seeking a dedicated and resilient Accountant to join our team in Ålborg, Nordjylland, DK on a part-time basis. As an entry-level role, no prior experience is required, but a passion for numbers and a willingness to learn is essential.

Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring they are accurately updated - Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Work with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations - Provide support for audits and financial reviews - Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Detail-oriented and organized - Prioritizes quality and accuracy in all aspects of work
