Job Description - Remote Support Manager

As a Remote Support Manager at Marel, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of remote support specialists who provide technical assistance to customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive timely and effective support to resolve any issues they may encounter with our products.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of remote support specialists, providing guidance and support as needed. 2. Develop and implement support processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective resolution of customer issues. 3. Monitor team performance and service level agreements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. 4. Collaborate with other departments, such as product development and sales, to communicate customer feedback and improve products and services. 5. Conduct regular training sessions for support staff to keep them up-to-date on product knowledge and support techniques. 6. Handle escalated customer issues and ensure prompt resolution to maintain customer satisfaction. 7. Analyze support data to identify trends and develop strategies to improve overall customer support experience. 8. Provide regular reports to management on team performance, customer feedback, and key metrics.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical support role, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership position. 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 4. Experience with remote support tools and technologies. 5. Dedication to providing exceptional customer service. 6. Energetic and enthusiastic attitude towards work. 7. Strong planning and organizational skills. 8. Creative problem-solving abilities.
