IT Support Assistant - Student / Part-time role

Are you a tech-savvy person with a flair for solving IT issues and keeping things running smoothly? Copenhagen Optimization is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support assistant to join our facilities team, focusing on IT operations. What you'll be doing:

You’ll support our daily IT operations and help ensure a seamless tech experience for all our colleagues. Your tasks will include:

• Monitoring and responding to requests in our #it-support Slack channel


• Inquiring about and ordering equipment for new hires and existing colleagues in line with company guidelines


• Setting up new desks and ensuring proper hardware allocation


• Securely wiping old computers before reuse or recycling


• Mapping hardware serial numbers to employees and updating the equipment asset list


• Testing software updates before approving the for rollout to all colleagues.


• Ensuring meeting rooms and workstations are functional, organized, and tidy


• Installing software and setting up new computers for new colleagues

Who you are:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant IT or technical program - or already finished, just looking for a part-time role.


• Interested in IT support, hardware/software setup, and device management


• Comfortable with tools like Slack and Microsoft Intune (or eager to learn)


• Reliable, structured, and a natural problem-solver


• Available to work 8–10 hours per week - split on 2 days.
