Pet Caretaker

We are currently seeking a Pet Care Provider to join our dynamic team and help us fulfill our mission.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a Pet Care Provider at MyPeterinarian, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to pets in our community. Your primary responsibilities will include dog walking, in-home pet care, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take dogs on walks according to booked service categories, regardless of weather conditions.
• Conduct new customer consultations and follow company procedures.
• Provide essential care to pets in their homes, including feeding, watering, and playtime.
• Keep track of walk details and note any observations.
• Safely transport pets to and from their homes.
• Clean cat litter boxes and dispose of waste properly.
• Provide fresh water and food to pets as requested.
• Ensure pet and others' safety through responsible actions.
• Notify pet owners of any observed injuries or illnesses.
• Write detailed reports for each pet owner, including pictures.
• Manage schedules and prioritize duties based on customer needs.
• Attract new customers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
• Manage and upload content regularly to the company's cloud drive folder.
• Take care of pets at your own home (if you are allowed to take care of pets at your own home).
• Provide in-home pet care and overnight stays as required.

AVAILABILITY:

* Flexibility is required to take on various types of pet care jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with dogs and a walking-oriented mindset.
• Ability to walk for extended periods.
• Patience, reliability, trustworthiness, and responsibility.
• Preferred strength for walking and supporting two medium-sized dogs.
• A clean Police record.
