Student Assistant - Digital Transformation

DFDS is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation across the business. To achieve our transformations goals, we need a Student Assistant to support our initiatives across the department of Core Transformation & Integrations (CT&I). 

You will become a part of the Transformation Office Management (TMO) team, focusing on driving transformative change, optimizing processes, and  digitalizing workflows. We collaborate across the different initiatives constituting CT&I to identify opportunities and unlock synergies  

Develop your project and change management skills in a large and international company

This is a unique opportunity for the driven student wishing to understand and gather experience within project and change management. In your role, you will assist ongoing initiatives across the department, gradually improving your knowledge within the areas of Digital Transformation, Project Management and Change Management. The position is versatile with varying supportive and administrative tasks within CT&I. It is important for us that you can develop comfortably in your role, so we will always make sure that you receive the right level of support to help you succeed. 

Your initial tasks will be the following: 

• Assist with a variety of communication materials e.g. monthly updates, steering committee presentations, kick-off material etc. 


• Update and improve relevant documents e.g. our organisation charts, onboarding documents, etc. 


• Update and draft articles for our intranet sites 


• Plan and coordinate different meetings or events such as go-live celebrations 


• Support with budget review and follow-up on actuals 


• Ad Hoc support

The position is part-time of around 15-20 hours per week. We offer flexible working hours, so you can continue to prioritise your studies. 

Your personal and professional profile 

We are looking for either a bachelor student at their last year or a master student at their first year within a relevant line of study (Communication, IT Management, Business Administration or similar).

Professionally, you are: 

• Analytical and mindful of details 


• Interested in working with complex IT projects  


• Excellent in both verbal and written communication 


• An experienced user in Power Point and Excel 


• Structured and result-oriented 


• Driven and eager to improve efficiency and create value  


• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

Personally, you are: 

• A people person – just as we are 


• Able to balance your patience and impatience 


• Comfortable collaborating with both close and distant colleagues on all levels of the organisation 


• Engaged in your work and proud to deliver the best possible service to your stakeholders
