Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Valmet is seeking a motivated and adaptable Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis, working from home in Espoo, Finland. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities: - Manage accounts payable and receivable - Prepare and submit financial reports - Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information - Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded - Assist in budget preparation and monitoring - Support month-end and year-end close processes - Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and systems - Provide financial analysis and insights to assist in decision-making

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 3+ years of experience as an Accountant - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Excellent communication and persuasion skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
