Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are looking for a Remote Accounts Payable professional to join our team at Aiven. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process remotely. This is a full-time position based in Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland at the associate level.

Responsibilities: - Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment-related issues - Maintain vendor records and update payment terms as necessary - Assist with ad hoc financial projects as assigned

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial role - Passionate and driven individual with a strong attention to detail - Excellent analytical and planning skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
