Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Seriously Digital Entertainment is seeking a Remote Accounts Payable Associate to join our team based in Turku, Finland. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process for our international operations. This is a full-time position at the associate level, requiring at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner - Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve any issues that may arise - Prepare and process payments through various methods, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers - Assist in month-end closing activities and provide support for audits as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation - Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions - Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to streamline workflows

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 4+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines - Energetic and proactive approach to problem-solving - Strong presentation and cooperation skills
