About the Role

About the Role Support local Palo Alto team staff in the achievement of objectives in line with company directive. Provide product and solution based technical sales support to Westcon team in Finland & Baltic and Palo Alto authorized business partners.
To plan, execute and report on Palo Alto vendor portfolios to maximize Westcon Group value-add and ensure success in terms of revenue and profitability. Work with Palo Alto vendor and sales team to develop and execute compelling solution propositions for Westcon, Resellers and their end users. About the Team
- Within the Westcon Finland team there are 7 colleagues

Your Key Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities Sales
• Acquire specialist knowledge of Palo Alto business and Cyber Security (structure, processes, promotions, pricing, competition, and market)
• Identify and establish new partner accounts (e.g. call dormant accounts, cold call new accounts, obtain leads from vendors)
• Help and assist partners through the Palo Alto specialization & certification process and enablement.
• Maintain and grow business with existing accounts.
• Support internal sales in managing account administration.
• Consult with Partners in selling and supporting Palo Alto products towards end-users.
• Provide product presentations and comprehensive sales training for assigned partner accounts.
• Manage demo stock requirements and evaluation stock.
• Prepare partner plans and execute directly.
• Identify cross selling opportunities within Westcon Cyber Security products and services portfolio
• Create value add opportunities for Westcon.
• Develop relationships with Vendor Account Management Teams Customer Support
• Provide customers with relevant and up to date product-related information.
• Coordinate with training, marketing, business development, and product management to effectively support our partners.
• Establish productive vendor relations to ensure a high quality of service to partners.
Administrative/Self Development • Ensure forecasts are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare business development plans for account set.
• Attend relevant internal and external product training.
• Meet all reporting deadlines with accuracy (e.g., call reporting, pipeline reporting, etc).
• Attend all required internal and external meetings.
• Maintain and develop own knowledge of Westcon and vendor product portfolio.

Qualifications / Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements • Significant work experience in IT Cyber Security sales ideally Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to acquire, learn and convey technical products, services and concepts.
• Desire to continue to develop skills and knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Articulate with excellent phone and email etiquette.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivated.
• Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
• Handles confidential financial and personal information appropriately.
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about technology and training others to promote Palo Alto to our partners / resellers.
• Willing to be flexible and approachable.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure. Qualifications
• A self-motivated individual with an appetite to succeed with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in external sales or business development within IT / Cyber Security.
Operating Environment
• Predominantly face-to face engagement and supporting telephone contact with existing and new partners.
