Are you a passionate communications professional looking for a purposeful job with in an growing, dynamic and sustainable global business? Metsä Board is currently looking for a
COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
to be based in Espoo, Finland. As a Communications Manager, you are part of a professional global communication team, and you report to the function leader. The position is fixed-term until 29.2.2024.
What is your role in the future Metsä?
In this role, you will be responsible for media releases and content for our various external and internal communication channels as well as for social media. We are looking for an efficient and creative content production professional who is proficient in social media and digital marketing.
In your role, you build a positive company and employer image for Metsä Board, and tell the story of the future inspired by innovation, circular economy, combating climate change and responsible forest use.
Your key duties include:
Conceptualise, write and edit impactful press releases, media articles, blogs, interviews and website and intranet content, starting with the content planning through to execution
Create and implement communication plans for key projects and functions
Coordinate and support of media activities across our global markets
Social media channels development and administration
Develop and implement social media campaigns
Participate in the communication team’s shared development projects
Support the overall communications strategy and ensure consistency within Metsä Board brand guidelines
Member of the editorial team of Metsä Board customer magazine
Providing support for creating presentations for external use
The best conditions for success in the task
You are proactive, dynamic and responsive team player and a self-starter motivated to develop engaging communications, with good organizational and planning skills. You are a great content creator, able to identify and write inspiring content from various expert areas. You have good knowledge of digital marketing and social media channels and how to use them efficiently as well as experience from Sharepoint, Office 365 and design software like InDesign and PhotoShop.
You have a university or university of applied sciences degree suitable for the position and versatile work experience in corporate communication or marketing. In addition to fluent Finnish, you speak and write good English.
