HR Specialist with a Passion for Payroll

About the Position:

As our HR specialist, you'll play a vital role in atNorth's ongoing growth, making meaningful contributions and leaving a lasting impact. This dynamic position covers a wide range of responsibilities, from ensuring payroll accuracy to fostering efficient processes throughout our organization. Collaborating closely with colleagues across departments and geographical locations, you'll help cultivate a cohesive and supportive work environment.

You'll have the unique opportunity to accompany our employees on their journey with us, from welcoming new colleagues during onboarding to ensuring their seamless integration into our systems. Based in our Helsinki office, you'll provide support to all our entities across the Nordics, reporting directly to the HR manager in Stockholm. With our hybrid remote setup, occasional business travel within the Nordics will be part of the role.

About You:

To excel in this role, you'll be a passionate and experienced HR specialist with a keen interest in payroll. You'll be adept at training and supporting managers while serving as the primary point of contact for colleagues, new hires, and leadership. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you'll have a natural talent for process improvement, constantly seeking opportunities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

As an administrative superstar, you'll possess a keen eye for detail and a tech-savvy mindset, always striving to automate and enhance processes. Excellent communication skills are essential, with proficiency in English required, and fluency in Finnish and other Nordic languages considered a bonus.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in HR administration, payroll processing, and employee core data management.
• Proficiency in Office 365 tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in Finnish and other Nordic languages preferred.
• Familiarity with HRM systems such as SYMPA is advantageous.
• Previous experience with Confluence and Jira is beneficial.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
