Senior Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a prudent and motivated Senior Cloud Enginee r to join us in Helsinki, or partially remotely (within Finland). You will be part of the Technology team, responsible for running and developing our platform infrastructure, monitoring system and deployment pipelines, which are all critical foundational components in Tesseract’s success.

Your responsibilities

• Maintaining and developing our cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) 
• Improving our CI/CD pipelines and tooling 
• Site Reliability Engineering work (incl. improving monitoring and tooling) 
• Working together with SW and QA engineers 
• Ensure infrastructure security; manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines 
• Manage company M365 tenant and various other support services, including Identity and Access management 

What we expect from you

• 8+ years of relevant experience (infrastructures, cloud platforms, development, system administration, etc.) 
• Excellent knowledge and experience with AWS 
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code 
• Experience with containers and their orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and PostgreSQL 
• Experience with a modern programming language, preferably JS/TypeScript 
• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration 
• Good collaboration and communication skills 
• Willingness to actively learn new things 
• Excellent English language skills, Finnish considered as a benefit
• Valid work permit to work in Finland
