We are looking for an experienced

Area Finance Manager, Nordics

to work in Ponsse Group Finance team in Nordics.

Group Finance team supports and leads the global Finance development across Ponsse.

In this role you will be part of the Global Finance Team, and you lead and develop the financial activities in the Area Nordics.

You ensure compliant financial bookkeeping, taxation, financial & ESG reporting and related auditing processes in Area Nordics. You lead people, ensure competent resources, and have efficient organizational structure in Finance in Area Nordics in co-operation with Group Finance. You will implement Group Finance strategic priorities and ensure that unified global finance processes, policies and tools are used in Area Nordics.

You will ensure efficient payment transactions, liquidity management and trade financing in Area Nordics together with Group Treasury and you will arrange efficient execution of trade payables process (P2P) and trade receivables process (O2C) in Area Nordics. Budgeting, forecasting and business reporting belongs to your duties in Area Nordics.

Furthermore, you will be organizing sufficient business support by acting as Business Partner to Area Nordics and being a member of Area Nordics management team.

Required qualifications in this role:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Extensive, at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles in international business, including experience in managerial or leadership positions.
• Strong business orientation to be able to support the business success of Nordics area.
• Extensive experience & knowledge in general financial management practices related financial accounting, business finance, treasury operations and financial services in international context
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS rules, compliance requirements, and tax laws relevant to the Nordic countries.
• Ability to contribute to strategic planning processes, develop financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Strong leadership skills and track record of managing teams, providing guidance and direction.
• Fluent business English.

As a person you have an ability to lead and guide people and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, as well as negotiate and resolve financial matters effectively. You also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate financial data, analyze root causes and propose practical solutions.

You will be part of the Ponsse’s Group Finance team, reporting to CFO and working closely with the Finance team globally across the Ponsse countries and subsidiaries. You preferably locate in Sweden or in Finland, but your working location is negotiable in Nordics. Some amount of travelling will be required in this role.
