We are always on the lookout for a talent with a growth mindset – are you the one?  We are looking for a Development Engineer with a main responsibility in supporting development projects and activities in planning and designing tasks. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. This is a temporary position from 1.8.2024-30.6.2025. Your role and responsibilities:  As a Development Engineer, your work will include:

•    Preparation of material for a development project.
•    Carry out project-related feasibility studies.
•    Produce technical specifications.
•    Perform assigned engineering work.
•    Design needed components and systems (3D models, drawings, etc.).

The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of an energetic project team with diverse expertise.

Requirements for the position: 

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering or similar education
• Experience in design/engineering environment
• Experience of 3D design tool
• Experience in engine construction and/or related subsystems is considered an advantage
  

Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: 

• Ability to solve problems
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Good command of English, both oral and written
