We are now seeking a

Head of Technical Property Management

to join our Group Real Estate, Concepts and Sustainability team in Helsinki.

In this role, you are responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the Technopolis property portfolio, managing group-level service providers, and ensuring operational efficiency and sustainability across all locations. You will collaborate closely with operational technical and service teams and report directly to the Chief Real Estate Officer.

What you’ll do

• Lead local teams and service providers within a matrix organization, to ensure optimal operational performance.
• Planning and managing modernization investments to enhance property functionality and value.
• Handle budgeting and control expenses related to property maintenance and investments.
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability measures across our properties.
• Support the development and reporting of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
• Maintain and lead accurate property master data and comprehensive document management.
• Ensuring great customer satisfaction through effective property management.

Who you are

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in technical property management, preferably with some international exposure. You should hold a degree in a relevant technical field and demonstrate exceptional skills in advancing and implementing practices and solutions. Your capabilities should prominently feature a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving, underlining your proficiency in driving projects to completion. Team leadership and management experience is valued, though the focus is primarily on your ability to execute and operationalize initiatives rather than direct team supervisory responsibilities. Interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, and proficiency in both Finnish and English is required. The role also necessitates availability for occasional business travel.
