Job Description - Key Account Manager

What your future looks like at Accountor

As a Key Account Manager, your daily tasks involve actively acquiring new clients, utilizing your strong communication and negotiation skills. Engage in client presentations, either face-to-face or virtually, and manage your schedule independently. You will proactively monitor and adapt your sales funnel, ensuring consistent progress towards targets. Throughout the year, you will participate in trade shows and client events, contributing to the larger sales organization's success.

In this position you will work as a part of Accountor Group’s FMS (Financial Management Software) cluster. You will build and maintain your own client portfolio and oversee your own schedule. We know that getting started in a new sales position takes time, so we have a guaranteed commission for the first 6 months to get you started.

As a Key Account Manager, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. Proficiency in phone-based communication is a must, and you'll be responsible for autonomously managing a calendar for both face-to-face and virtual meetings. You are not afraid to be in the spotlight at trade shows and client events!

Most of your team is located at our headquarters in Espoo, but we also have locations in Turku, Tampere, Oulu, and Jyväskylä, and we work with a flexible hybrid model.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in New Customer Acquisition: Predominantly outbound experience with a focus on building and managing a client portfolio.

  • Sales Funnel Management and Negotiation Skills : Ability to manage the sales funnel from acquisition to deal closure. Demonstrated results and ability to achieve sales targets.

  • Financial Acumen: You can understand and analyze company financials and use the knowledge when discussing with clients.

  • Self-Leadership: You are experienced in leading your performance towards annual targets by utilizing modern sales tools (e.g. CRM) and doing the right things at the right time in a focused manner.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in Finnish and English (Swedish is seen as a plus)

  • A drivers lisence and a car is a must

  • We also value industry knowledge of accounting business and SaaS sales experience
