Are you an experienced IT technology leader who thrives in leading sustainably delivered and scalable technology services?

We are now seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead our newly formed Enabling Technology Platforms area operations consisting of Infrastructure, Data Platform, Integration & Automation and Information Security services. You will be based in Helsinki, Finland and report to the Head of IT, Enterprise IT & Digital Employee Experience. In your role you’ll be part of Enterprise IT & Digital Employee Experience Management Team.

We are looking for someone who excels in their role by empowering their team members to succeed in theirs. You will lead a team of approx. 10-15 skilled professionals working in roles such as IT Service Manager, IT Platform Manager, Development Manager, Architect and IT Specialist. You get to be part of a great development oriented and growing IT & Digital organisation with people located in Finland, Sweden, Belgium, UK, Estonia, and Spain

To succeed in your role, you need to be able to build and run scalable service delivery through an ecosystem of internal and external capabilities. You are accustomed to leading multi-vendor environments and to run business critical technology services. You enjoy working in an international and dynamic environment where you use your forward-looking mindset to future proof your area’s capabilities to fit Paulig’s ambitious growth targets.

What you will do

• Responsible for your area service operations, development and technology architecture
• Team leadership and coaching ensuring team’s performance, wellbeing and development
• Internal and external stakeholder collaboration on a tactical level
• Finance management including planning, follow-up, and control
• IT supplier management and governance
• Development of service delivery and area ways of working based on agreed IT operating model (e.g., governance model, service management framework)
• Creation and follow-up of effective KPIs to ensure service performance and development portfolio delivery

What we expect from you

You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this:

• University degree with major in information system science, technology, or similar
• Proven track record of team leadership and leading people in a multicultural setting
• Strong background in technology service delivery in complex international environments
• Strong background in IT service sourcing and vendor management
• Experience in getting different stakeholders to pull to the same direction
• Solid understanding of overall IT operating models and implementing good practices
• Strong drive to learn new things and find ways to improve the ways of working
• Strong interpersonal communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
• Some understanding of the technology domains in concern to be able to add value
• Fluency in English on a professional level, both oral and written
