Process Analyst

to join our Business and Concept Development unit within AFRY Process Industries Division. Our Team focuses on the latest in technologies, also applying state-of-the-art artificial intelligence in our work.

As Process Analyst you will work on challenging projects across various industries such as chemicals, metals and mining as well as food and pharmaceuticals. Your main task is to conduct technological analysis for evaluating for example the technical potential of new technologies within the given industries and their future. You will collect and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data with the help of artificial intelligence. Based on the findings, you will also deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations that provide clear and actionable insights and solutions.

Your main working location is our headquarters in Vantaa with flexible hybrid work model but working from another AFRY office in Finland can also be discussed.

Qualifications

In order to succeed in this role, you have:

• MSc degree in chemical, process and/or bioproducts engineering OR in chemistry /biotechnology (graduated or close to graduation)
• Great skills in using databases for data retrieval and excellent data analysis skills (both numerical and non-numerical)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Special interest in learning about the use of AI in conducting technological analysis
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

You also stand out if you have previous work experience from Chemical or Pulp & Paper industries. Programming skills in Python and R are also considered beneficial.
