PRODUCTION MANAGER, WIPAK OY Valkeakoski

As a Production Manager at Valkeakoski site, you will lead our Slitting department safely towards manufacturing excellence. You will lead a team of skilled production workers, fostering collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Here’s a snapshot of your role

As a vital part of Valkeakoski site’s production your tasks include:

• Responsibility to ensure and develop work safety
• Act as a supervisor for Slitting department and warehouse operators
• Responsibility of product quality and safety
• Responsibility of producing the planned production
• Manning responsibility of the department
• Ensure the sufficient knowhow of the personnel
• Responsibility of production- and cost budget
• Development of manufacturing excellence, management for daily improvement (MDI) and total productive maintenance (TPM) in the department
• Drive continues improvement (CI) initiatives based on the targets of the local organization (e.g., OEE Budget, Waste targets, Material savings)
• Lead/participate in investment projects

Who we’re thrilled to bring on board

To ace this role, you will need:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management
• At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., plastics or industrial engineering)
• Good interpersonal and cooperation skills
• Understanding of the business and processes
• Communication skills in Finnish and in English
