Job Description - Quality Engineer, Six Sigma

THE ROLE

In this new, Quality Engineer, Six Sigma, role, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the product lifetime quality of our offerings. You will be responsible for analyzing product quality data for decision making of product improvements and following up product improvement effectiveness through data. Utilizing your expertise in quality management, data analytics, and decision-making, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a Product Lifetime Quality framework to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Define and monitor Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess product quality and performance metrics.
  • Utilize data analytics tools, including Minitab and Power BI
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of various data sources, including ERP, JIRA, Cloud database and WATS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality awareness and best practices across the organization.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Background on Electronics or Power Electronics is seen as a plus
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, with experience in analyzing complex data sets.
  • Excellent hands-on problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and optimize product quality.
  • Experience with Minitab, Power BI, ERP systems, JIRA, and WATS is highly desirable.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma is seen as a plus.

As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of Finnish is seen as a plus.
