Release Manager

We are looking for an experienced

Release Manager (Digital Services)

to work in Ponsse Group Digital Services & IT team in Finland.

In this position the goal is to ensure that the continuous releases of digital services enable the smooth progress of development . You will be building development roadmaps, release practices and guidelines. You work with development teams to orchestrate releases and deployments. In the task you will help everyone to focus on the right deliverables. You are responsible for managing dependencies between the development teams, you coach and support. You will participate in the development of Ponsse scaled agile development process as well.

Required qualifications in this role:

• A Bachelor`s or master`s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management and/or Product Owner responsibilities, including at least 2 years in Agile Roles.
• Experience on leading scaled agile or portfolio management.
• Experience on Scrum and agile practices.
• Good communication skills and a fluency in both spoken and written English as well Finnish.

As a person you have an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, as well as adapt to a rapidly changing environment. You are proactive, creative and take initiative and ideate and you pay attention to detail, and you work well under pressure . You also have strong problem-solving skills to solve problems and work in a diverse team and see solutions rather than problems.

You will be part of the Ponsse Group Digital Services & IT team, reporting to Senior Manager, Architecture and Portfolio Management and working closely with the team globally across the Ponsse countries and subsidiaries. Your working location will be in Finland Kuopio, Kajaani or Vieremä, but we are working in hybrid model . Some amount of travelling will be required in this role.
