Head of Network and Infrastructure

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to assume the role of Head of Network and Infrastructure in the Digital organization and aide in a successful transition of the Industrial Fire business from Carrier to Sentinel Capital Partners in Q3 2024. As the Head of Network and Infrastructure, you will play a critical role in implementing a succesful transition plan as well as overseeing our enterprise network architecture and infrastructure strategies, ensuring robust, efficient, and scalable solutions that support our business objectives. This position will report to the Chief Information Officer of Industrial Fire, and will be based in Vantaa, Finland.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Provide strategic guidance and oversight for the organization's network and infrastructure architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate infrastructure best practices into all aspects of the business.

Responsible for the overall operational and development budget for IT infrastructure.

Enterprise Network Management:

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's enterprise network, AD, hosting and other critical infrastructure.

Ensure network availability, performance, and resilience while minimizing security risks.

Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

Security Operations:

Evaluate and select vendors and technology partners for network infrastructure solutions.

Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements.

Implement and maintain security tools and technologies to support network infrastructure.

Experience & Education:

Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing enterprise network and infrastructure operations.

In-depth knowledge of network architecture principles, protocols, and technologies.

Strong understanding of infrastructure management and best practices.

Experience with infrastructure technologies such as AD, network hardware, firewall, certifications, SSO, Domain management and performance monitoring tools

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Experience in setting up a standalone infrastructure on a company transition is considered a plus.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
