Sourcing Manager for forklift industry

As a Sourcing manager you work ais a part of Mitsubishi Logisnext’s global procurement organization. and execute supplier management according to the category strategy. Your tasks include improving the efficiency of supply chains, seeking cost savings, searching for new suppliers in the procurement category and ensuring the quality of manufacturing methods and ability to the deliveries. In addition, you get to work with procurement and item data, and define procurement parameters with SCM tools.

Your working days vary and one day you will find yourself negotiating international agreements, while the other day you will be supporting the purchasing team to secure component availability. In your work, you use ERP, SCM and Office tools. The Sourcing manager we are looking for has a self-directed attitude and good communication skills. We hope you can communicate fluently in Finnish or English, because English is strongly required in day-to-day work.

You will work in an independent position being part of a local procurement team, from which you will have colleagues with iron professionalism to support your work. You also work closely with stakeholders such as production, R&D and quality functions.

We hope our new Sourcing manager has suitable studies (technical or business) and has previous experience in procurement manager’s duties as well as in international negotiations and contracts. We consider it an advantage if you have 5 years of experience in similar Sourcing Manager role.
