As part of the overall Motion Business (MO) HR Team, and as a part of our Performance and Reward Team you drive the strategic Performance and Reward (P&R) requirements for the Motion Business. The team provides holistic support and service to the Motion Business on all P&R requirements and acts as the interface to both the Corporate and HR Services teams in relation to the P&R needs of the Motion Business. As Reward Analyst you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and enhance operational efficiency. Reporting to the Motion Business Area Head of Performance and Reward the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct analysis, and communicate findings to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be located in one of our major business countries in Europe.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the MO business area Performance & Reward team to provide a more consultative approach to the Motion Business in the way it is able to present findings in relation to P&R data in a more consistent, cohesive and holistic manner.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Utilize statistical methods and data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Collect, clean, and integrate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and third-party systems. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency to facilitate reliable analysis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of business initiatives. Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support the Single Cycle activities (AIP; ASR; PDA; sales incentive programs; Executive Compensation; recognition programs etc.) by managing key data input and collation as well as providing reports and analysis back to the business and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate market trends and provide market benchmarking information and analysis for all aspects of the P&R remit.
  • Support the MO P&R team members on key topics and projects, as required.
  • Ensure the P&R Procedures are applied in respect of activity undertaken across the Motion Business for P&R matters.
  • Understand the overall MO Business Strategy and develop solutions in relation to P&R needs for the Motion Business in line with this.
  • Work in close collaboration with MO Business Talent and HR Operations to align on priorities and to identify and tackle challenges.
  • Provide consultative advice to HRBPs (Business lines and functions) on use of MO Business P&R strategy, P&R policies, programs and processes and the P&R procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, HR policies and compliance standards in area of functional responsibility. Highlight and manage risk for P&R within the MO Business
  • Collaborate with team colleagues to ensure continuity of service for the MO Business.
  • Support other team members and help each other to achieve goals.
  • Provide excellence in customer service for P&R within the MO Business
  • Where required, represent P&R for MO Business in broader meetings and networks across ABB

Your background

  • Degree educated level, 5+ years relevant experience in an Analyst (preferably Reward) role.
  • Expert data analytical skills
  • Ability to present findings and information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Broad understanding of Performance & Reward topics and technical requirements.
  • Business acumen to partner with key stakeholders at varying levels in the Business.
  • Strong knowledge of Grading, Sales incentives, Annual Reward Cycles will be beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex issues at the same time.
  • Knowledge of labor law and compliance.
  • Ability to actively listen, consult with others and lead by influence.
