Job Description - Scrum Master

Job summary

Metso is on a global journey towards agility, and we are actively seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. This position is mainly located in Espoo or Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Partner with Product Owners, coaching your POs and development teams to become high-performing units that continuously deliver high-quality solutions. • Serve as the torchbearer for agile principles and values, fostering a culture of flexibility and adaptability. • Collaborate with the Agile Coaching unit within Metso to establish an efficient way of working. • Remove barriers and impediments by facilitating effective problem-solving activities and guiding conflict resolution to ensure team success. • Guide teams to evolve through retrospectives and data-driven insights. • Foster a safe, productive, and enjoyable teamwork environment. • Shape cross-functional team practices that nurture collaboration and drive innovation and excellence. • Nurture the use of lean and efficient tools, processes, and practices that consistently deliver value with minimal waste.
Requirements
• 2-3 years of proven Scrum Master/Product Owner experience in Agile (SAFe a bonus). • IT infrastructure experience (networks, servers, cloud, enterprise applications). • Strong knowledge of lean methodologies and adapting practices for evolving business needs. • Proficient in virtual collaboration and backlog management tools. • Excellent communication skills in English and problem-solving skills. • Passion for change, influencing teams towards efficient ways of working.
