Senior Product Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated individual for a role that centers around Provet Cloud, our cloud-based veterinary practice management software (). Provet Cloud is designed to help veterinary practitioners save time so they can devote more attention to caring for their patients and to make managing a veterinary practice more efficient and simpler. It offers features for appointment scheduling, electronic medical records, inventory management, billing, and communication within the veterinary team.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager capable of identifying business opportunities, defining product strategy and approach, and managing a complex product area through the entire cycle—from development, to delivery, to end-of-life.

You’ll lead our product’s Finances team, which is responsible for ensuring that our product enables veterinary practices the world over to effectively manage their financial needs—from invoicing their customers to balancing their books—through intuitive, comprehensive, and error-limiting workflows.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Define, deliver, and communicate a compelling and well-defined strategic vision and roadmap for your area of the product.

• Identify and build business cases for new opportunities, and move forward on the key investments that can bring concrete value to our customers and company.

• Prioritize and manage work efforts through the coordination of Agile product development rituals and guide your team through ideation, development, and timely delivery of product features and improvements.

• Prepare necessary documentation, coordinate research, design, and development activity, and drive the progress of multiple projects to achieve high-quality, value-driven implementation into the product.

• Define and analyze metrics to measure the success of your delivered projects, and continuously monitor, report on, and improve the overall performance of your product area.

• Plan for and guide iterations of your team’s work to progressively improve your product area and extend and expand the value offering for our customers.

• Mentor and support your peers in the product management team, and help the organization mature in its processes and working approaches.

• Foster the adoption of our Nord Design System in our products and help contribute to its continued growth and evolution.

What will help you to be successful in this role?

Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. The top candidates for this role have experience as Product Manager of finance and accounting software or in SaaS products with significant finance and accounting capabilities, and understand how to deliver compelling impact and customer value in this area.

In addition, we humbly request that you hold:

• Diverse interest in all things Product, from the basics of product development process and commercialization to specific areas like market and user research and product marketing.

• Strong practical understanding of and capability in the product development process, ranging from the definition business and product strategy, to ideation and definition, through to validation and commercialization.

• Extensive demonstrable experience in successfully delivering high-quality, value-driven products and features, particularly in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Familiarity working alongside designers, developers, researchers, and others within a multi-disciplinary product team to solve problems together.

• A team-player mindset, with a willingness to proactively coordinate and collaborate with other teams throughout the organization to deliver a unified product.

• A respectful, humble, and collaborative attitude focused on bringing to success to everyone—peer and customer.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, our primary working language.

Our current team setup is small, diverse, and distributed across Europe and the USA. We have a lot of trust for everyone to work independently and asynchronously towards common goals, and we’re the best match for a highly proactive and collaborative Product Manager.

• This is a senior-level role, at around 6–8 years of experience minimum.

• This role reports to the Head of Product Management.

• This is a permanent role.
