About the roles and responsibilities

We are looking for multiple dynamic individuals for these three distinct roles within our customer’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team: Project Engineer , Production Management Software Engineer , and Production Planning Software Engineer . Each role is crucial in developing and implementing software solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and align with customer requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement specifications based on customer requirements

• Prepare project documentation and oversee testing, installation, and commissioning activities.

• Perform analysis and troubleshoot issues in existing installations.

• Collaborate with team members and customers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Manage individual tasks effectively and ensure progress is visible.

Requirements:

• Background in software development and/or automation

• C++

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Sciences, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Fluent English (Finnish is a big plus due to Finnish customers)

Seen as an advantage:

• Proficiency in PL/SQL and familiarity with relational databases like Oracle.Experience with virtualized systems and knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux.

• Familiarity with industrial operations systems and their integration to ERP systems.

• Deep understanding of MES software, especially production management modules.

• Skills in managing software developers and overseeing the development of Quality Data Management (QDM) solutions.

• Background in process engineering or the manufacturing industry.

• Experience in Production Planning Systems

• Experience with source control tools like CVS, DevOps, and Git.

• Skills in code quality assurance practices including unit testing and static code analysis.
