Blueprint Genetics, a Quest Diagnostics company, is a clinical genetic testing company aspiring to bring world-class genetic knowledge to mainstream healthcare. We are now looking a Senior Manager, ITOperations to join our global IT Operations team, which plays a vital role in the team's mission to provide the best tools and a smoothexperience for our employees and customers.

We are looking for those who want to make a difference

As a Sr. Manager for IT operations, you will manage the IT operations organization in both Finland and in Germany. You will have ownership of the IT operations team, the IT budget and various IT projects. You will ensure a seamless operation of our IT infrastructure and services, thus enabling success of the business units located in Europe.

Our technology stack is a mixed bag. We mostly have Apple workstations with a few Windows machines thrown into the mix. We have on-premises and Azure Windows servers and lab equipment, some Linux based solutions and different 3rd party SaaS solutions. Our Software Development and Cloud teams develop and operate our software environments in the AWS cloud. We try to keep our stack up-to-date, light and flexible.

You will join our cross-functional IT Operations team and report to the Executive Director, Infrastructure Operations,based in the USA (East Coast). We hope you can join our office in Keilaniemi, Espoo, but you have the flexibility to work partly remotely as well. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Your tasks will include:

• Coaching, developing, and managing the IT Operations team in Helsinki
• IT service management, ensuring seamless operation of IT infrastructure and services in Finland/Europe through SLAs
• Managing IT development projects and budgets
• Contributing to the company IT strategy
• Managing IT service contract and IT infrastructure process (setting up, imaging and distributing hardware)
• Preparing IT standard operating procedures, policies and training materials
• Participating in external IT/information security audits
• Reporting identified risks related to own work, processes, or products to relevant persons
• Understanding the impact of changes for processes and implementingchange management process
• Managing employee IT onboarding and offboarding
• Implementation of information security policies
• Ensuring compliance with information security policies and applicable regulations
• System maintenance, including patch management and vendor updates
• Incident management and response
• Supervising training requirement fulfilling and participating in third party risk assessments

Your main responsibility will be to ensure smooth operations of our IT systems, and this will require flexibility, hands-on mentality and adaptability to change.

What we expect from you

To be successful in the role you should have a strong knowledge in Cloud, Network, Serverand Storage environments. Any experience working in matrixed team in healthcare or multi-national corporation is considered a benefit. We hope you have excellent team leading skills, and thatyou communicate and collaborate effortlessly with our diverse team of experts. We hope that you have over 5 years ofextensive work experience in the field of IT and management.

We value excellent troubleshooting capabilities, customer service skills, communication and project management capabilities. Additionally, you have experience managing third party providers to deliver managed services.
