Your Role:

We are looking for a Summer Trainee as a Software Testing/Quality Assurance trainee, to support our Product Configurator Tool’s Software Development.

Your primary responsibility will be to rigorously test software test features for our Product Configurator. This will involve:

• Conducting functional testing to ensure all software components perform as expected.
• Performing regression testing to identify and address any potential issues or bugs.
• Collaborating with developers to understand software requirements and test scenarios.
• Documenting test cases, results, and any discovered defects in detail.
• Participating in team meetings to discuss project progress and any testing challenges.

Skills You Will Develop:

Throughout your internship, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in:

• Test case design and execution.
• API testing with tools like Postman
• End-to-end testing, bug tracking and reporting using industry-standard tools.
• Collaboration and communication within a software development team.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Academic Background:

• We are looking for candidates who are currently enrolled in 2nd to 4th year studies in computer science, software engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A strong foundation in programming concepts and software development principles is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills for collaboration purposes with different stakeholders
• Fluent English language skills, other languages are an asset.
