Video Creative (Concept & Editing)

We are looking for a craft-minded, innovation-oriented, and entrepreneurial creative to help us grow video production on a global scale at Superside. As part of a micro video crew, you'll create epic copy, scripts & edit content for video marketing with fast and out-of-the-box thinking! You'll be bringing distinctive creative talent and will be combining it with a craving for innovation and business-building. We'll count on you to push creative boundaries to impress our customers’ and inspire others to do more. We hope you can bring your own innovative thinking about the best ways to deliver video production to our customers in disruptive and delightful ways.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Research the latest trends on social & digital advertising and within our customers' industries
• Ideate and bring your video knowledge to the table
• Storyboarding & ideating with social optimization in mind
• Suggest epic visual creative solves for briefs and put them into action
• Own your projects autonomously while collaborating and being a solid team player, able to share knowledge and work together for the best outcome
• Create new ways of bringing short-form video to the world within budget and timeline
• Handle planning, to creating, editing and delivering excellent quality content pieces to blow minds

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• 5+ years of creating high-quality content
• Demonstrable experience in concept & copy, specifically for film projects
• Good understanding of Digital Marketing
• Ability to create gripping story arcs with which consumers relate
• High-quality and time-efficient editing ability
• Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and skilled using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong ownership of your creative ideas, guiding and contributing (when possible) through practical production
• Understanding of multimedia assets and exporting for multiple channels (including both traditional and social media)
• Ability to manage fast-moving projects for multiple clients simultaneously
• Strong understanding of best design for different media types and specs
• Preferably (but not a requisite) experience with Animation and Adobe After Effects and with micro-crew setups/guerilla-style content

OUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE RIGHT NOW

• Our Video Production team is relatively new, which comes with a few challenges. Our processes tend to change frequently, so you need to be adaptable and have an in-depth ability with certain procedures. As we’re working remotely, updates need to be constant and detailed. Working as a video producer at Superside requires over-communication, with both your team and the customer.
• While we understand Production requires someone who takes charge and controls many aspects of the shooting, we need people who get stuff done with a positive attitude. This calls for a trusting team player, who is resourceful, ego-free, kind, and has a wicked sense of humor.
