The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Web Strategist to join Aiven’s Brand and Communications Team. This team Aiven plays a critical role in creating, establishing & delivering messaging that builds and influences awareness, and drives product adoption and accelerates go-to-market (GTM) activities. As a web strategist you will be instrumental in developing and executing our web strategy, ensuring exceptional user experience that, ultimately, drives adoption of Aiven.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Web Strategist who will accelerate Aiven’s growth by setting the strategic direction of our web experience, planning and delivering with a focus on user experience and conversion, and supporting these strategies with strong technical skills, an experimental mindset and data-driven actions.

What You'll Do:

• Web Strategy Development and Management: Create and implement innovative web strategies that align with Aiven’s business goals, drive traffic and are focused on the user experience.
• Website Management: Oversee a team of two developers to ensure the day-to-day management of Aiven’s website functionality ensuring optimum user experience, engagement, performance and conversion.
• Innovation and Best Practice: Lead the charge on web growth strategies through experimentation, optimizing for web engagement and conversion.
• Data-Driven Insights and Decision Making: Employ a data-driven approach to deliver continuous improvement and evolution.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust planning and execution cycles with a strategic and outcome-based lens.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in website strategy and management ideally in the B2B or technology industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful web strategies that deliver maximum business value.
• A data-driven mindset focused on growth and outcomes.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and provide strategic expertise cross-functionally to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

Our current main website tech stack consists of React, Remix, Typescript, Zod, Sanity, Tailwind CSS, Storybook, Playwright.
