Lead and mentor the Unity Department, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning;
Develop and execute departmental strategies in alignment with business goals, defining objectives, and managing team resources effectively;
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Architects to integrate new features and meet project requirements;
Drive knowledge sharing and best practices within the Unity Department, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient workflows;
Translate complex requirements into actionable development plans, overseeing implementation and delivery timelines;
Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and maintainability of projects;
Drive architectural decisions and promote modular, reusable, and maintainable code structures;
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to mobile game development, evaluating their potential impact on projects;
Provide support and guidance on technical challenges, code optimization, and system architecture when necessary.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Unity mobile game development;
Prior experience in mobile game development and managing people;
Proven track record of team management and leadership, with a passion for fostering team growth and development;
Deep understanding of game development concepts and implementation;
Strong grasp of software design principles, design patterns, and architecture;
Excellent problem-solving skills and a result-oriented mindset;
Effective communication skills;
Experience with C# 7.0+ and .NET 4.6+;
Familiarity with asynchronous programming methodologies;
Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and stakeholders.
Will be an advantage:
Experience with iOS and Android development;
Proficiency in creating tools and workflows within the Unity Editor;
Knowledge of core/platform common solutions for mobile game development;
Professional experience with C++.
