Are you the next target-oriented Project Manager for Project Execution team?

Valmet Flow Control’s Vantaa factory and offices are part of the Valmet’s global network which develops, manufactures and delivers flow control solutions and related services centered around state-of-the-art valves and smart technology.

What are your duties?

As a Project Manager, you will be independently responsible for managing the execution of valve delivery projects to various process industries in a global, multi-project and multi-site environment. You will be responsible for meeting contractual commitments and customer expectations in your projects, as well as project financial and operational targets. You will communicate directly with our global EPC customers and end users and work closely with Valmet sales offices. Internally you will lead your project team, which will include project engineering, project documentation, supply chain, logistics and other stakeholders. 

What will you bring to our team?

To succeed as a Project Manager you should have a solid track record in various project execution tasks, preferably as Project Manager or Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry. You can handle several complex delivery projects simultaneously and you have business-oriented and customer-oriented mindset. You have a hands-on attitude and enjoy working in a technically challenging, constantly changing and vibrant project environment.

Your workstyle is independent, systematic and grounded on accountability. You have great communication, collaboration and negotiating skills as well as the will and ability to proactively get things done.

You have a degree (Bachelor or Master’s) in a technical field and speak fluent English and Finnish.
