We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Project Logistics to join our Port Cranes Supply, Procurement and Logistics team in Hyvinkää. Our team is responsible for sales order handling, invoicing, and operational project logistics for container handling equipment projects. As a Summer Trainee, Project Logistics you will be working as a part of logistics team, and you will support team in various daily activities. Your daily responsibilities include for example transportation arrangement and preparing shipping documents, daily working with internal and external stakeholders, following up shipments and assisting customer in any customs related matter and handling transport invoices. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility to work partly remotely 3 times per week.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a logistics student who is eager to learn more about international supply chain tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background in logistics or supply chain management
• Understanding of global supply chain and logistics from your studies or working life
• Good communication skills in English
• Interest to work in project environment
• You know how to use traditional IT-programs e.g., Microsoft Office, email, etc.
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks and SAP knowledge is seen as a beneficial
