Job posting end date: 05/27/2024 We are looking for a progressive and experienced Head of HR to join our Business Area Metals in Espoo, Finland. As Head of HR, BA Metals, you will play an important role in shaping our people strategy, fostering people engagement and driving performance culture. You will collaborate closely with Head of Business Area Metals and BA Metals leadership team, Metals colleagues and Metso HR professionals across the world, to ensure that our HR actions accelerate our sustainable profitable growth. You will also have a key role in leading the People stream in the current ongoing divestments of MCP (Metals and Chemical Processing) and FHT (Ferrous and Heat Transfer) businesses. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned HR leader to make an impact on our culture and business performance in a global setting, and to learn and grow. In this role, you will report to Piia Karhu, Head of Business Area Metals and in matrix to Carita Himberg, Chief People Officer at Metso. What we look for Proven experience in global senior HR leadership roles in large corporations Strong business acumen and results orientation with the ability to translate strategy into concrete people and organizational development actions Proven track record in strategic thinking with excellent drive and skills to execute Proven experience in culture, leadership and capabilities development, and leading complex organizational change processes and projects Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and influence in a global matrix organization and drive change at all levels Understanding of HR legal topics and landscape, in particular in M&A and divestments Growth mindset with a solution-oriented and proactive can-do attitude Ability to support and coach others to build success together Industrial sector business environment understanding Fluency in English, both written and verbal We offer you a highly interesting and versatile role in a global organization.
