The University of Helsinki International trainee programme is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme. We are now looking for a TRAINEE for EU CHANSE funded international consortium: Digital Death. Transforming History, Rituals and Afterlife (DiDe). The duration of a traineeship is from 1 September to 31 December 2024 (four months) of part-time (50%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €700 per month for a part-time (50%) trainee. About the position As a trainee you will be working in Media and Communication Studies with a Helsinki workshop team lead by Professor Johanna Sumiala, post doctoral researcher Anu Harju and doctoral researcher Linda Pentikäinen. The successful applicant is expected to have:- Excellent command of English language- Excellent interaction skills- Excellent organisational skills- Excellent ICT skills Why work for us We offer you an international and innovative research environment with interesting assignments related to research in the social sciences, specifically in the research field of digital communication and AI.
