As our Test Automation Lead, you won’t just test software but you will define how we ensure quality at scale. You’ll take ownership of our automation strategy, elevate our QA practices, and help embed an AI-native mindset across engineering.

If you’re someone who wants both hands-on technical depth and strategic ownership, this role is for you. At QOCO, we’re building an engineering culture where AI is a practical tool, and as our Test Automation Lead, you’ll help drive that shift in testing.

What you’ll do

• Define and lead QOCO’s test automation strategy

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Robot Framework + Python)

• Evaluate and integrate AI-native testing processes and tooling

• Drive automation planning across projects and teams

• Lead integration, regression, UI, API, and performance testing initiatives

• Collaborate closely with developers and tech leads to embed quality early in the SDLC

• Define quality metrics, increase test coverage, and elevate release confidence across engineering

• Mentor and support QA engineers as we continue to grow

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in QA and test automation, with clear ownership experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Robot Framework

• Solid understanding of automation architecture and planning

• Curiosity and experience exploring AI-assisted testing approaches

• Experience with REST API testing, UI testing, and system-level testing

• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)

• Ability to think strategically while staying hands-on

• Fluent English (we’re a very international team)

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• TypeScript or Cypress

• Performance testing

• Building automation practices from the ground up

• Aviation or other highly regulated industries
