We are seeking an  Application Specialist, Supply Chain  to join our Metso IT Supply Chain Management team in Tampere or Espoo. As an Application Specialist, you will work with our various global production quality area applications, operations, and IT Digital Development (DD) project/product delivery activities through the application lifecycle while closely connecting with business and IT stakeholders. Later, this position might require some travelling (<15%) of the work schedule.

You will join a team of Supply Chain IT experts passionate about delivering the best possible solutions to support Metso.

What you’ll do

• Collect and document requirements, perform functional analysis, design, build/test/document solutions as required and perform knowledge transfers to stakeholders.
• Participate in the development of IT tools and processes, implement chosen development practices and an IT and digital development model (e.g., SAFe, DevOps, ITIL-based), and seek ways to leverage agility and speed with development.
• Ensure through activities own application agreed business value metrics (e.g., SLA/OLA/NPS) and KPIs targets achievements: performance, availability, satisfaction, usability, security, and cost.
• Address topics and changes related to the application service towards the AMS provider, provide feedback, and act as subject matter expert in the AMS process when carrying out advanced support-related activities.

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience working in IT and/or supply chain.
• Good general IT knowledge and . NET
• Experience with Azure applications and understanding infrastructure monitoring
• Good knowledge of the supply chain process, especially production
• Self-directed person with a curious mindset and willingness to continuously grow professionally.
• You have the creativity to solve complex problems and a strong drive to meet goals and targets.
• Higher degree in computer science or supply chain.
• Good communication skills to work in a global team and full working proficiency in English.
