The opportunity
In this role, you will help craft the overall vision of and be responsible for our Atlassian suite of products including Jira and Confluence. This includes partnering with many teams across our globally dispersed enterprise to drive best practices and improved automation.

What you'll be doing

• Provide application support for JIRA and Confluence that includes training and documentation.
• Create/maintain Confluence spaces, permission schemes, JIRA projects, workflows, screen schemes, custom fields, permission schemes and notification schemes
• Onboard new teams to JIRA and help existing teams optimize their workflows and analyze requests for new JIRA functionality, implement new features, triage incoming support requests
• Develop key metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters in JIRA/Confluence to provide meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports
• Apply built-in customization and third-party add-ons to extend Atlassian Suite functionality as needed

What we're looking for

• Advanced knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (Both Data Center and Cloud) with an excellent understanding of general administration and configuration
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, communication and client interfacing skills
• Experience working in a fast-changing, dynamic, and agile environment, able to manage time and maintain an excellent work ethic
• Experience with common Atlassian plugins including ScriptRunner, Insight for Jira (Assets), eazyBI, Structure, ProForma, and Refined
• Understanding of business processes and ability to leverage Atlassian Suite to maximize and improve those processes

You might also have

• Familiarity with various programming and scripting languages, such as Groovy, Java, Python, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience creating, configuring, and modifying rules and scripts using Automation for Jira including use of Smart Values.
• Knowledge of the Jira REST API structure and experience performing REST API calls or developing Jira plugins.
