Kendrick Recruitment is seeking ambitious and hardworking Chefs to join a fine dining restaurant team in Finland. This role requires adaptability, professionalism, and a passion for wine and fine food, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment.

Accommodation: Furnished studio apartment available to rent (~€500/month, heating & electricity included, close to the restaurant)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to fine dining standards
  


• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
  


• Interact with guests when required, delivering professional hospitality
  


• Manage stock counts and necessary preparations
  


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of fridges, freezers, and dry storage
  


• Learn and use Finnish food terminology
  


• Participate in general restaurant duties, including cleaning, scullery work, and snow shovelling
  

Minimum Requirements

• Professional work ethic and maturity
  


• Previous European experience advantageous
  


• Non-smoker preferred
  


• Valid driver's licence advantageous
  


• Computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  


• Interest in wine and fine food
  


• Strong traits: ambitious, adventurous, intelligent, career-driven, hardworking, adaptable, emotionally mature
  

Work Permit & Costs

• Processing time: Approx. 3 months (non-EU applicants)
  


• Work permit fee: €530
  


• Flights: €650 (to Helsinki) + €175 (Helsinki to Ivalo) + €14 (bus to Saariselkä)
  


• Candidate responsible for application fee and flights (guidance provided via the Enter Finland platform)
