CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, CFO

A unique opportunity for a Finance professional to support our growth journey and grow personally during a very interesting time in our 40-year-old family business!

Premix is a world leading compounder of electrically conductive plastic materials with a strong track record, very ambitious growth targets, and a healthy balance sheet. Our purpose is to create a safe society with functional materials.

We are finalizing our 80-million-dollar manufacturing plant investment in the US, which is in a key role in transforming us from an export-driven company to a truly international company with manufacturing sites and commercial teams on two continents .

We are looking for a finance professional to lead the financial management in the Premix Group. Keeping in mind the size of the organization and the business, we are looking for hands-on

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)

The key responsibilities include all those typical of a CFO, for example:

• lead and develop Premix Finance, including Business Control, budgeting and forecasting, strategic financial planning, accounting, and potential M&As

• initiate and drive strategic programs to improve our profitability

• leading own compact finance team as well as outsourced resources

• provide financial insights and proposals to the business

• shared responsibility for the Premix business as a member of the Premix Group Management team

The decision-making at Premix is very dynamic. The CFO is working very closely also with the owners and the Board of Directors. As a family business, the focus of the CFO is more on strategic issues than on statutory reports.

To succeed in the role , the ideal candidate should have:

• rich experience in Finance, experience as a CFO and Management Team member is advantageous but not required.

• a business-oriented mindset to develop the business on a global scale, while being comfortable having also many own operative routines.

• experience in a Finance role in a manufacturing business, preferably with several sites.

• passion to achieve excellent results and courage to challenge status quo

• an analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to turn the data into action plans

• skills and motivation to drive profitability improvement projects

• fluency in communicating in Finnish and English
