Cloud Architect, Netvisor

Netvisor delivers mission-critical operations for approximately 40,000 customers around the clock. Through various integrations, mobile solutions, and a web interface, our system is in constant use while being developed by multiple world-class development teams. This is made possible by careful planning, automation of workflows, and comprehensive monitoring.

To lead this change, we are now looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join our Netvisor Infrastructure Team!

What can you expect when joining us?

As a Cloud Architect, you will hold the key responsibility for our technological domains, tech strategy, and nurturing the platform. Your purpose is to increase predictability and improve our time-to-market by designing standardized, reusable platform solutions that enable future capabilities and AI-driven growth. Instead of maintaining the status quo, you will promote proactive technological change, ensuring our platform stays up-to-date and fit for purpose.

This strategic role involves staying current on tech trends, scenario planning, creating Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and mapping the path forward. You will work in close collaboration with senior and lead engineers, turning the platform strategy into practical, repeatable models that can be deployed by our development teams.

How to succeed in this role?

We are looking for a self-directed team player with extensive experience in architecting, designing and building modern cloud-native systems. As a forward-thinking expert, you will be responsible for guiding the technological evolution of the Netvisor platform.

Your key capabilities include:

• Technological outlook: The ability to look 1–3 years ahead to predict and design the technological solutions needed for future product requirements. You are able to help us understand the future of AI and know what it takes to transform our platform on the way there.


• Deep understanding of cloud technologies: The skill to design and select suitable technologies and vendor solutions that enable future capabilities and prevent the accumulation of technical debt.


• Proactive process development: The capability to change the current ways of working by creating operational models and blueprints that development teams can implement efficiently.


• Critical eye on current platform choices: The ability to see technologies becoming obsolete, recognize when requirements are shifting, and know when it is time to invest in modernization before it becomes too costly to pivot.

We hope that you have a strong foundation in at least most of the following technologies:

• IaC (Terraform)


• Containerization & Kubernetes


• AWS and other public cloud technologies


• CI/CD (Github Actions, ArgoCD)


• (no-)SQL databases (Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB)


• InfoSec on the cloud


• Experience building and designing AI solutions as an architect

Besides the technical skills, we are looking for a team player with an interest in learning more about modern cloud technologies with our colleagues. You have the audacity to question our past choices and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others while keeping your own skills updated. Our working language is English.

Visma Solutions has offices in Helsinki and Lappeenranta, but you can also work from other Visma offices or remotely from anywhere in Finland.

The salary range in this position is estimated to be around 5500 - 7000€ per month depending on your experience and background, but we are happy to hear your expectations.
