Cloud Delivery Center Team Lead

Currently, we are looking for a Cloud Delivery Center Team Lead for our team in Finland, Kuopio.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Delivery Management:
  • Coordinating and managing the delivery of high availability cloud-native managed services
  • Developing our services, e.g. building capabilities to expand delivery center’s portfolio based on business demand, identifying new automation opportunities and implement them with Nordcloud teams, optimizing delivery processes and tools
  • Collecting business requirements, presenting and explaining those to the Team
  • Acting as a point of contact for the services in scope, enabling clear and effective communication between Nordcloud and customer and possible subcontractors
  • Managing Customer satisfaction, by addressing customer requests/suggestions and complaints
  • Managing project budget
• Providing well-structured and performance-oriented work environment in which the team is service-focused, motivated and feels encouraged to take on new challenges and improve their skills
• Effectively and proactively managing, coaching and motivating the team
• Acting as a promoter: developing career paths in collaboration with team members, responsible for identification, assessment and alignment of the key competencies required to be successful on the available career paths

Non-technical requirements:

• Experience in:
  • Helping to define and improve processes
  • Managing external customer relationships
  • Leading tech teams
  • Working in professional services, managing SLA, problem management
• Previously worked in a customer-facing, project/service delivery management role
• Drive to learn new things and continually improve their knowledge, along with a keen interest in the public cloud, keeping up to date with the developments and understanding how they can bring our customers value
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish & English language and Finnish citizenship
  

Technical requirements:

• Of MS SQL databases, hosted on virtual machines and/or Azure SQL service
• In Azure AppService management and optimization
• In IaC on Azure (ARM, Bicep and/or Terraform)
• Hands-on experience with other supporting Azure components (e.g., Azure Monitor, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking)
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server OS
• AZ-104 certification or readiness to complete the certification

What sets you apart (we'd consider any of these a big plus):

• Previous experience gained within an international company
• Project management experience and PMI or Agile certifications
• Interest in the latest technologies
• Public cloud certifications

Our ideal candidate has:

• Ability to communicate across all levels within engagement
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision as well as perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Previous experience in IT Service or Process management in mid to large organizations
• Solid experience managing internal and external stakeholder expectations
• Experience managing SLA’s and service descriptions, translating them into live operations
• Problem-solving attitude
• Ability to work in an ops-agile environment with evolving requirements and priority changes
• Experience working in multicultural teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of the dynamics of the team and experience from managing a team

For this role you must be located in Kuopio or be willing to visit it frequently.
