Cloud Transition Manager

Currently, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Transition Manager to join our team in Finland.

At Nordcloud, we help our clients move into the cloud. As a Cloud Transition Manager, you’ll be at the heart of that journey—ensuring the effective implementation of transition tasks for our clients, in line with well-crafted transition plans. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of transition projects, contributing to the planning and execution of Managed Services deals within the Nordcloud portfolio.

In this role you’ll co-create and implement compelling transition strategies. You’ll apply proven methodologies and frameworks to ensure smooth delivery—maintaining actions, logs, and keeping deliverables and project plans up to date. Your work will directly impact how our clients experience the cloud.

• Design smart transition strategies for new opportunities and support customer workshops with confidence.
• Plan and execute detailed transition roadmaps—aligning tasks, timelines, and resources for success.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure every stakeholder is aligned and engaged.
• Track progress and report clearly, keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed.
• Communicate with empathy, manage change resistance, and support teams through the transition.
• Identify risks early and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
• Document everything—from templates to processes—to ensure repeatable success.
• Train and empower teams to adopt transition processes confidently.

• Has a strong professional background and proven track record in delivery transitions, ideally in cloud environments.
• Understands transition management methodologies and can apply them in real-world scenarios.
• Communicates clearly and builds trust with clients and colleagues alike.
• Is familiar with multi-cloud hyperscalers, infrastructure, DevOps, and Agile ways of working.
• Solves problems with curiosity and data-driven thinking.
• Brings industry insight and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Has experience leading change and engaging stakeholders effectively.
• English as a language requirement

• This role is based in Finland.
• Free hybrid work - no mandatory office days.
• You’ll need to be flexible to work across time zones (including US hours) depending on project needs.
